Privacy,
without fine print.

BellyNote is local-first. There is no account and no sign-in. This policy explains what stays on your iPhone and what happens when you choose to share.

Stored on your device

Microphone recordings, pregnancy profile details, estimated rhythm results, and listening preferences remain inside the app container on your device. BellyNote does not upload them anywhere.

No account

BellyNote has no sign-in and no account system. It does not ask for an email address, a name, or any other identifier, and it creates no profile about you on any server.

Microphone purpose

Microphone access is used to record body sounds, draw a waveform, and estimate an unverified repeating acoustic rhythm. BellyNote cannot confirm that a sound comes from a fetus.

Sharing

Audio leaves the app only when you explicitly choose Share, Files, or an export action. The destination you select then controls its copy.

Your controls

You can export recordings, delete individual recordings, or delete all local data in Settings. Because nothing is stored off the device, deleting the app removes everything BellyNote holds.

Safety and retention

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app. BellyNote keeps no server-side copy to retain, and it does not use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
